Organic supply

Strengthening our partnerships with organic fruit and vegetable growers enables us to offer an ever increasing range of certified “organically farmed” seasonal produce. In France, the AB brand belongs exclusively to the Ministry of Agriculture, Agrifood and Forestry and it is the ministry who defines the rules of use. Like the European organic logo, the AB logo identifies products that are 100% organic in the case of unprocessed food, more specifically organic fruit and vegetables, and it is governed by the EC regulation n°834/2007. This European regulation is a guarantee for the consumer regarding the production process, the specific use of authorized products during growing and/or packing, through to checks on the product labels.

This range of “organically farmed” produce meets an ever increasing demand from the consumers for production processes that are free of synthetic products and are non-GMO. AVO EXPORT therefore plays an important role in the development of organic farming, environmentally-friendly processing and production processes, animal well-being and biodiversity.
